Bull Elk

Elk are easy to photograph along Hwy 16 on the east side of the Jasper National Park. Often we see people get out of their cars and approach these large and dangerous wild animals with point and shoot cameras. I use a large lens and shoot out the van window using a beanbag for support. This is a much safer for the elk and me. A similar image was used on the cover of Bugle magazine.
