I have sat at Disaster Point in Jasper National Park many times and had yet to see a male Bighorn Sheep. But on this day, there they were on the road as we headed toward the Jasper townsite. I pulled the van over and got out. Keeping a safe distance I shot many images from across the highway. The sheep were at the side of the road until a large truck drove by and applied its engine breaks making a very loud racket. The Rams panicked and ran up the rock face. This made for a much more dramatic image.
