An open wooden boat at low-tide in Sandwich Bay in Cartwright, Labrador. The locals call these homemade boats "Speed Boats". They also said that they give a much softer ride than the new fiberglass boats. They give a bit in the waves. Unfortunately, they only last about 5 years so many locals are switching to the more modern materials.
