Scarborough Bluffs

As a kid, I would walk at the foot of the Bluffs with my dad. It was not as beautiful back then as it is now. When I was 4 or 5 years old, this was a landfill site with burning garbage and sewage flowing down the hill from St. Augustine's Seminary. Dead fish littered the beach and smoke from burning garbage filled the air. Sounds terrible but I have fond memories of walking here with my dad. It was rare that we had time together like that. Today, Bluffers Park draws thousands of people. There are beaches, several yacht clubs and a large marina with a restaurant. I have spent most of my life in this area of Scarborough. Because of its close proximity to our house, I often shoot here at all times of year.
