Mount Edith Cavell, AB

Pre-visualization is a big part of what I do when it comes to landscape photography. Hiking and scouting for locations mid day when the light is harsh allows me to know where to be when the magic hour hits. We were at the other end of Cavell Lake in Jasper National Park. Knowing Mount Edith Cavell would be reflected in the lake, we hiked until we found the best place for shooting. Then we waited for the light.
