Erratic Rocks, Barrie Island

There is an area called "The Head" on Barrie Island, part of Manitoulin Island, Ontario. It's called that because Barrie Island resembles a turtle when viewed from the air. I love to wander around at the turtle's head. It's quiet and peaceful and so much to see there especially in the spring. I have photographed this grassland full of erratic rocks many times. A similar image I took was used for the cover of Seasons magazine several years ago.

Pentax 6X7, Pentax 55 mm lens, Fuji Velvia.
