Bison are so big that I tend to stay in the van when around them. Shooting from the van is much safer. We were on a back road in Wood Buffalo National Park. There were lots of Bison on the road and wandering in the woods. The road was very rough. At one point I didn't know if we would make it back to the main road. After a tense couple of hours we finally got to the other side.
